Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use Cats or Dogs? if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from Privacy & Safety in the app.

The service

Cats or Dogs? is an authenticity-first dating experience built around daily video prompts, a feed of answers, follows, matches, and chat. Features, limits (such as recording length and nudge rules), and subscription tiers may change as we improve the product. Admin-configured settings apply where shown in the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a license to host, display, adapt (for example captions), and distribute your content as needed to operate the service, enforce guidelines, and keep users safe.

You represent that you have the rights to what you post and that your content complies with our Community Guidelines.

Subscriptions and payments

We may offer free and paid plans. Prices, features, and billing terms will be shown before you purchase. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to those platforms' terms. Subscriptions on the marketing site are described as coming soon until available in stores.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm others.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or intentions.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its security.
• Use the service for commercial solicitation unrelated to genuine dating use.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review content and take action to protect the community, including hiding specific videos, limiting features, or terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations. Our default approach is to disable individual videos when content crosses the line, not entire accounts, unless broader action is needed for safety or legal reasons.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee matches, outcomes, or uninterrupted access. You are responsible for your interactions with other users. Use good judgment when meeting people offline.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise. Courts in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
